Let's be real, there's not that much to do in Columbia area, BUT below is a list of things that we both enjoy :)

We highly recommend going here if you're here on Saturday morning. They have great selection of food, free parking, and it's right across from the South Carolina State Capitol.



• Piecewise Coffee Shop: piecewisecoffee.com/

Our favorite coffee shop in town.




• Blue Marlin: www.bluemarlincolumbia.com/

It is a local old restaurant in Columbia that has good Southern food.



• Cayce Riverwalk: visitcaycewestcolumbia.com/riverwalk/

There are multiple entrances here. It will be even nicer in the Fall season, when it's not as hot and humid.
There's also an entrance not far from the Piecewise Coffee Shop in Cayce.



• Riverbanks Zoo & Garden: www.riverbanks.org/

We have not gotten to visit this place, but we've heard great things about it!




If you are willing to drive, we highly recommend visiting the following:

• Charleston: ~2 hours away. They have pretty beaches and cute markets to walk around.
• Downtown Greenville: ~1.5 hours. The Pretty Place (see our picture in Gallery) is ~1 hour away from Downtown Greenville.
• Charlotte: ~1.5 hours away. We have not visited, but the Billy Graham Library is up there.
